Why haven't I received my new registration card and stickers?

After submitting your registration renewal on iKan, your county treasurer will mail out the registration card and stickers to the address at which the vehicle is registered. Though the specific delivery timeframes differ by county, it generally takes 7-10 business days to receive your order in the mail. If you want to confirm your mailing address and get a shipping update, you can contact your county treasurer's office. You can find your county treasurer's contact information on this website.

 

For Johnson County Residents

If your mailing address needs to be updated for your vehicle registration in Johnson County, please complete the Motor Vehicle Change of Address form. Be sure to fill out this form completely.

  • If you have yet to renew your registration renewal, the address will be updated on iKan within two business days, and you will be able to submit a renewal order at this time. 
  • If you already submitted your registration renewal, add the following comment to your form before submitting to have your tags reissued: “I renewed online and did not change my address before I renewed. I need a new decal.”
