If you meet the requirements, follow the directions below to renew your license in Kansas.

How to renew a Kansas driver’s license through iKan
Once you get to the dashboard, click iKan Driver’s License Renewal, under the “Other Available Services” tab towards the bottom of the page.
Next, review the renewal criteria to confirm your eligibility and review the notes about the process. While you are unable to add an endorsement through iKan, any endorsements already attached to your license will persist to the renewal.
Then enter your full name, birth date and driver’s license number to locate your file. You will then be prompted to answer several compliance questions as part of the driver’s license renewal process. Then, you will be asked to choose your optometrist from a drop down list. After the application is submitted, the state of Kansas will work with your optometrist to confirm your vision exam information, a process that typically takes 4-6 business days. During this application process, you will also be prompted to update the license on your driver's license, if desired.
Lastly, you will be prompted to provide your contact information and answer questions related to voting and the national organ donor registry.
Completing your application payment
You can complete your payment by adding a credit/debit card or bank account.
Simply click Add Credit/Debit Card or Link Bank Account on the “add payment method” pop up, fill out the necessary information, and then click on the blue button at the bottom of the page. After you successfully add a payment method, click the blue Pay button to complete your renewal application.
You will receive a confirmation email once your payment is successful, and your application will be sent to the Kansas Department of Revenue for review. If approved, you will receive your license in the mail within 14-45 days.
