Can I pay my Kansas county property taxes online?
Did you recently receive a personal or real property tax bill from your county and are wondering if you can pay it online?
Well, the answer depends on which county you live in.
- Residents in Harvey, Smith, Shawnee and Wyandotte counties can use PayIt platforms to make property tax payments.
- For the Kansas counties that don’t use a PayIt platform for their property tax payments, there may be other online where residents can pay tax bills. If you’re not sure whether or not your county accepts property tax payments online, you can inquire with your county treasurer’s office using their contact information.
Pay your property tax bill online in Shawnee, Smith, or Harvey County
Go to iKan or download the smartphone app and click Continue to PayIt Login. To create an account using your email address, click Sign Up. You can also use an Apple, Google, or Facebook account to sign in.
Residents do have the option to Continue as Guest. But an account will store your information and make future transactions faster.
Once logged in, click Find Property on the iKan Property Tax section and select your county. Then locate your record with the available search criteria.
Once you locate your personal or real property, click Pay Bill or look up additional property accounts.
Pay your Wyandotte County property tax bill online
Wyandotte County residents have their own PayIt platform myWyco. To get started, go to the website or mobile app and click Continue to PayIt Login. To create an account using your email address, click Sign Up. You can also use an Apple, Google, or Facebook account to sign in.
Residents do have the option to Continue as Guest. But with an account you can access official documents and past receipts, and also store your payment information to make future transactions even faster.
Click Property Tax on the myWyco dashboard and then select either Personal property or Real estate and search for your property. Select your property once you find it, and then you can either choose to pay the bill or search for additional property.
Completing your property tax payment
To complete your payment, select Pay Bill from the conversation or dashboard and then choose to either pay the full or a partial amount. Next, you will be prompted to select a payment date and method.
To add a payment method, click Payment Method and then either Add Credit/Debit Card or Link Bank Account, fill out the form and then click on the blue button at the bottom.
The final step will be to click on the Pay $--.-- button at the bottom of the screen. Once complete, you will receive a receipt via email, and it will also appear on your profile under the “Receipts” tab.
