Submit a Kansas Department of Health and Environment Residential Lead Program Application on iKan
To submit a Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) application, log into iKan (see Create a Profile on iKan) and follow the quick steps below to get started:
1. Select Start Application under "Health and Environment"
2. Complete the required fields and select the appropriate responses
3. Select a payment method and click Complete Payment to submit your payment

Can I save my application and come back to finish it later?
Yes, you may exit an application and your progress will be automatically saved on iKan.
To resume an application click Explore Services under Health and Environment. Then select an application under Started Applications.
How long will it take for my application to be reviewed?
After an application is submitted on iKan, it takes 5-7 business days to be reviewed and approved by the Kansas Department of Health and the Environment (KDHE). You will receive an email confirmation and updates when there are changes to the status of your application.
How do I check the status of my application?
You can check the status of your application on iKan by clicking Explore Services under Health and Environment. Then select an application under Submitted Applications.
